Bartleby Scriveners

Bartleby Scriveners is Bob Schecter helping individuals write books, newsletters, blogs, and web page text. Located in Framingham, Massachusetts, Bob can work with clients whether they are in Massachusetts, New England or around the world.

I take my name from Bartleby the Scrivener, a novella by Herman Melville, the author of Moby Dick. The title character is a clerk/copyist in a New York City law office who one day finds himself unable to write anymore.

My goal is to assist individuals who cannot, for want of time or skill, sit down and express their ideas in a book, article, newsletter, blog post, or website.

Books for those who understand that publishing a book will enhance their careers, grow their businesses, or provide personal and professional legacies. Through painless and efficient in-person and telephone interviews, we plan the book together, I record your ideas, express them in a style designed to appeal to your target audience, edit the manuscript as you direct, and assist in publishing your book.

Articles for consultants and others in business who want to write for their professional and industry publications in order to demonstrate expertise in their fields.

Newsletters and blogs for businesses and consultants that demonstrate expertise; newsletters for associations that must bind members and provide value for dues; and newsletters for non-profits that need to stimulate donor and volunteer support.
