The Client
Bartleby Scriveners helps consultants and senior or retired executives who want to write books but don’t have the time or skill to do it alone—people for whom publishing will further their careers and increase their incomes or provide personal and professional legacies.

The Process
The process is simple: First, we plan the book, chapter by chapter, through a series of in-person or phone interviews. Then, in weekly hour-long recorded interviews over a period of six months to a year, we flesh out each chapter.

Sometimes, you have presentations, workshop outlines, or previously published articles that make the process easier, quicker, and less expensive.

I regularly provide chapter drafts for you to review so that we can then further elaborate points and correct errors. Finally, I design the book, put the manuscript in camera-ready form, and help the you publish.

Two Advantages
A great advantage of this method is that you can “pay as you go,” chapter by chapter, rather than all at once.

Working in this manner also means that each chapter can be published first in professional journals, or elsewhere, and have an effect, long before the book itself is finished.
